Kingsclere Village Club
Village hall and club
The village club on George Street, cottages given to the village in 1921, with a hall and a monthly cafe.
About
The Village Club's on George Street, in a row of eighteenth century workers' cottages that were given to the village in 1921 in memory of Mr and Mrs William Holding. The hall at the back went up the next year as a billiard room and seats about sixty now. There's the Holding Room for twenty five and a committee room for six, a kitchen, a hearing loop and an accessible toilet. On the last Saturday of the month it's a community cafe, the history association's talks are held here, and the volunteer library's in the same building.

Venues and community places are listed as EveryVillage partners. We wrote this page ourselves, from information Kingsclere Village Club and others have published. Compiled 2 October 2026 from the club's own website (its history, rooms, hire charges and events) and its Charity Commission entry (1189234), read through search results of those pages. Pinned at the RG20 5NH postcode position rather than the building's own door. If you help run it, send us a correction or ask us to take the page down.
