About me
Stacey Lees, UKCP Accredited Psychotherapist
Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked as a teacher for 10 years, specialising in drama and special educational needs.
My therapy training includes an MA in Integrative Child and Adolescent psychotherapy, Post Graduate Certificate in Adult Counselling, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy Supervision.
My work is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and grounded in an understanding of early developmental experiences. I work integratively and creatively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs. My approach is relational and collaborative, with therapy led by you, while I may gently offer reflections or interventions where helpful to support deeper exploration and change. Many current difficulties can be shaped by past experiences, and meaningful change can take place within a safe, consistent, and trusting therapeutic relationship.
Alongside private practice, I also work with Trust House Reading supporting children, young people, adults, and families affected by sexual harm.
