Therapists in Mortimer Common
Overview
Before you book a therapist
Complementary therapy is largely unregulated, so the registers are voluntary but still the best guide.
Are they on a professional register?
The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council holds an accredited register for reflexology, massage and similar; Pilates teachers train through bodies like Body Control or APPI. Being on a register means training and insurance were checked.
Will they ask about your health first?
A proper first appointment starts with a consultation form. Some treatments are not suitable in pregnancy or with certain conditions, and a therapist should want to know.
Home visits or their own room?
Both are common here. Ask what they bring, and whether the price differs.
