About

Tadley Library is on Mulfords Hill in the middle of Tadley, a few doors from the post office. It is run by Hampshire County Council rather than on its own, which is the useful part, since a card issued here works at every library in the county, and anything held anywhere in Hampshire can be reserved and collected in Tadley. Besides the shelves there are public computers and free Wi-Fi, printing and copying, and Baby Rhymetime on Tuesday mornings. The building has step-free access, an accessible toilet and baby changing, and The Parade bus stop is two minutes' walk away.

Venues and community places are listed as EveryVillage partners. We wrote this page ourselves, from information Tadley Library and others have published. In-person outreach visit, August 2026. Address, opening hours, facilities and the Hampshire Libraries phone number from Hampshire County Council's own library finder page for the branch; Baby Rhymetime and the bus stop from LibraryOn. Directories give the street number variously as 32 and as 42 to 44, so only the street is published. Map position is the RG26 3JE postcode centroid rather than the door. Photographs published by the library itself. Last checked September 2026. If you help run it, send us a correction or ask us to take the page down.
