About

The Calleva Arms is the village pub, on Little London Road at the edge of the common and directly opposite the cricket green. It is a Fuller's house, so the bar keeps Fuller's and Gales ales, and the kitchen cooks a seasonal menu with daily specials from local butchers, greengrocers and fish suppliers. There is a dining area, a conservatory that opens onto the garden, and a garden that fills the moment the weather turns. Dogs are welcome. The name comes from Calleva Atrebatum, the Roman town up the road.
